Mirror Mirror – is a selection of 24 portraits from the National Self-Portrait collection of Ireland at the University of Limerick, nominated by a diverse group of people who are familiar with the collection. “Each person was invited to select a work that appeals to them and write a short commentary on their choice.
Over the past 32 years individual works and the collection as a whole have stimulated many unique responses and it is hoped this selection brings together some of these and add to the ongoing debate as to what constitutes a self portrait at the beginning of the twentieth first century”
