A city centre landmark building with gallery spaces for hire.
The Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts is renowned not only for its eclectic exhibition programme, but also for its landmark architecture. We have been housed at Ely Place in the heart of Dublin City since 1970. The refurbishment of the building in 2007 re-constructed the space to provide clear routes and paths throughout and improve our five galleries – with now over 13,000 square feet of space.
We offer venue hire for an array of corporate events in a choice of rooms including the Dr. Tony Ryan Gallery, our double height Atrium and the intimate Friends Room. All these spaces have a neutral palette for the continuously revolving exhibits of Irish and international art.
Our distinct location is ideal for a variety of events—from large corporate dinners and charity galas to meetings, screenings or performances. We also offer private dining opportunities for our Friends and Patrons and Director-led talks and tours – available by request.
Welcome your guests to a private, after-hours evening at the gallery where you can enjoy drinks and canapés – all against the backdrop of outstanding works of art.
