Six works – Augmented Reality

Group Exhibition

3 Jan, 2022 - 18 Jan, 2022
We are delighted to announce our first experiment with an augmented reality exhibition which will take place in the Spring and Summer of this year.

Augmented reality allows us to place an object in a specific location, virtually. To experience the work in the location you are required to use your smart phone. The object appears on your phone, in three dimensions within the actual environment.
Wilton Park is situated on the Grand Canal, on the north side between Baggot Street and Leeson Street bridges.

Eilis O’Connell RHA, one of our foremost sculptors has agreed to join us in this experimental format. Six recent works will be sited in the park. Simply download the app, WPAR, and come and explore her pieces as they interact with the environment of this beautiful natural oasis in the heart of the city. Details of the app and how to access the experience are available on our website and in signage at the entrance to the Park.
