This season, two exhibitions in the RHA take a close look at portraits: Debbie Castro’s Age is a Privilege, Unless You Forget! and Enda Bowe’s Hannah.
In response to these exhibitions, we invite you to make a portrait of someone who you care about – perhaps a parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, grandparent, teacher or friend. Maybe you’d like to make a self-portrait!
Sheila will demonstrate the steps in making portraits and you will have the opportunity to be as playful with them as you like – adding vibrant colours, textures and shapes!
You can bring a photograph of someone to make a portrait of for this class if you’d like.
Parents and guardians are welcome to join in the fun!
