Join artist Vivienne Roche for a fun drawing workshop for grandparents and grandchildren aged 6-9 in Vivienne’s exhibition Abridged at the RHA.  Inspired by a drawing of Vivienne by her granddaughter on a post-it note, grandchildren will be invited to draw a post-it sized portrait of their grandparent.

Last year, my granddaughter Hannah, then aged 7 and who loves being in my studio, did an astute drawing of me on a post-it as I was myself drawing.  It is now my portrait in the Abridged catalogue.  This gave me the idea for a post-it portrait workshop during the exhibition to see how other grandchildren might see and draw a grandparent.

 Grandparents are invited to bring up to three grandchild along for the workshop.  The workshop cost of €5 is for children only.

 Please note children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
