Zsolt’s practice explores fleeting intimate memories, provoked by vague sensations. Through his paintings he examines the relationship between reality and memory.
At the outset of this class, students will be asked to select a palette and make a 15 minute painting of a landscape in which their objective is to cover the page completely.
You will then be asked to look at your painting and try to associate a memory with it.
After a lunch break (1 – 2pm), you will focus on shadow and light, and adding depth to your work and associating it with your memory.
The last hour of this class will be used for sealing the paintings using acrylic varnish.
