Visit the RHA to explore our exhibitions....slowly!

On Saturday, April 15th over 100 museums internationally, including the RHA hope to enhance the visitor’s experience by participating in Slow Art Day.

Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: to help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art.

To celebrate Slow Art Day, we are inviting you to visit the RHA and wind down by looking closely at a specific artwork or an exhibition. We hope you will enjoy some mindful moments and relaxation as you wander through our galleries.

After your time with the artworks on display, join RHA Curator, Sarah McAuliffe for a discussion about your thoughts and discoveries.

The exhibitions on display are:

  • Cecilia Bullo: Being Haunted by the Breezes, Now How Will You Exist?, Gallagher Gallery
  • Peter Burns: Biblical Paintings, Foyer & Atrium
  • Jane Locke: Lighthouse at the Library, Corner Gallery
  • Vanessa Jones, solo show in the Ashford Gallery

This is a free event.
