Join artist Colin Martin RHA for a tour of the 193rd Annual Exhibition in which he will discuss a range of artworks that he's drawn to in the show.

Lunchtime tours are led by RHA Staff and Academy members, and give an insight into a personal selection of highlights from the exhibition.

About Colin Martin

Colin Martin studied in DIT and NCAD. His practice ranges across printmaking, painting and most recently site sensitive film installation. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘Keyframe’, Platform Arts Belfast 2014, ‘Collection’, City Assembly House, Dublin 2013, ‘The Garden’, Broadcast Gallery, Dublin, 2012 and ‘Cyclorama’, Basic Space, Dublin 2011.

Group exhibitions include ‘Far From Me’ Josef Fillip Gallery, Leipzig, Germany 2015,‘The Way We Live Now and Then’, Library Project, Dublin, 2014, ‘Golden Mountain’, Tulca, Galway, 2013, ‘Artisterium IV’, Tbilisi History Museum, Tbilisi, Georgia, ‘Shaping Identities Together’, Leuven Institute, Belgium, ‘a yellow rose’, Freemasons Hall Dublin 2012. He has been the recipient of awards including the Arts Council Visual Arts Bursary (2015, 2012), Thomas Dammann Award and Hennessy Craig Scholarship.

Colin Martin is the current RHA School Principal.
