We are delighted to offer a very special event to RHA Friends on Thursday 10th September, marking the opening of the new season of exhibitions at the RHA, with a dinner at Margadh RHA

The menu is designed by Chef Cathal Leonard, formerly head chef at Chapter One and Chef-Patron of the award-winning Potager in Skerries. Margadh RHA has had wonderful reviews this year, voted one of Ireland’s 100 great places to eat for summer 2026 by the Irish Times and the best Sunday lunch in Dublin by the Sunday Times.  

You’ll arrive to a welcome drink, beginning the dinner with shared nibbles, followed by a choice of mains and finishing with a decadent dessert.

After your meal, the new RHA Director, Séamus Kealy, will give a welcome speech exploring the new season of exhibitions opening that evening.

    The Royal Hibernian Academy is located in the city centre of Dublin, adjacent to the National Gallery of Ireland and National Museum of Ireland and within close proximity to a wide variety of public transport services, such as Dublin Bus (Routes: 39A, 46A and 145) and Dart (Pearse Dart Station).

Pop in to enjoy the café menu of coffee and pastries, light lunch fare, or a glass of wine and a snack. Savour the full a la carte menu in the evenings and on weekends.
