This RHA School public talk series, On Drawing, was programmed in partnership with DIT and IADT. This developed from discussions on what the role of drawing is within current practice – to plan, observe, describe, conceive and imagine. It can be an endpoint or a generative activity within a wider exploration. The talks took place in Autumn 2016 and Winter 2017 at the RHA School and invited artists addressed the role drawing plays within their wider practice. The series explored a range of perspectives and positions in contemporary drawing.
