We are delighted to formally announce that artist Róisín Lewis has been awarded this year's Clare Island residency.
Her work is a response to journeys she has made through the landscape.
Lewis works mainly with drawing processes. While the work she exhibits usually comprise of works on paper, over the past few years she has been exploring ways of expanding her drawing practice, by integrating printmaking and sculptural processes, indigenous building techniques and approaches to textile construction.
Artist Hannah Fitz was the first artist to be awarded this residency in 2021.
