The RHA invites artists to submit proposals to exhibit in the RHA Ashford Gallery for its 2027 exhibition programme. Exhibition slots are approximately four weeks long. They will begin in January 2027 and be scheduled up to the end of Autumn 2027.

Checklist
Subject line: ASHFORD SUBMISSION – ARTIST NAME
- Artist statement (max. 100 words)
- Exhibition proposal (max. 600 words / additionally, if applicable, a list of any specialised equipment required)
- 8 images and/or links to video work (please see note on file types/sizes below)
- CV
- An indicative list of the price range of the artworks in the proposed exhibition
Images: Your application must not exceed 8 images.
Any videos linked to in your application count towards this 8.
Only images of technical details, such as gallery plans or mock-up sketches, are acceptable in addition to this.
No cover-page or end-page images in documents.
File Types/Sizes: Applications should preferably be submitted as a PDF document incorporating all requested items. This must be under 6MB and should ideally be horizontally formatted.
If sending individual image files, each must be no larger than 1MB. Requested texts should be included in the same document.
Pricing: These must be full sale prices, regardless of commission.
Closing date: midnight, Monday 27 April. Artists will be notified about the status of their application in mid-June.

Terms & Conditions
- To be eligible for this programme, artists must not already have commercial representation on the island of Ireland
- To be eligible for this programme, artists must not have been included in previous RHA Ashford Gallery exhibition programmes.
- At least 90% of the work must be available for sale.
- Only one application per artist is permissible.
- There is no artist or production fee for RHA Ashford Gallery exhibitions. Nevertheless, artists will have the benefit of working closely with the RHA’s technical team to install and de-install their exhibitions. In addition, the RHA Curator will be available to plan the exhibition layout with you, if required.
- Transport for the delivery and return of artworks will be organised by the RHA within the island of Ireland only.
- Proposals should be clear. Artists may not change their initial proposal submitted to the RHA at the time of application; exhibition proposals must be adhered to during the time of installation.
- The RHA will retain 35% commission on all sales during the exhibition.
- The RHA does not provide advice on the pricing of artworks.
- You will be asked to provide the RHA Curatorial Team with a list of artworks for the exhibition, an exhibition overview, an artist statement and a price list 4 weeks before the opening of the exhibition.
- In line with the RHA’s mission to provide information that is accessible to all, please be aware that the RHA reserves the right to edit text material associated with exhibitions in the Ashford Gallery.
- The RHA Curator will provide details about the date and duration of your exhibition, as well as the installation schedule upon selection.
- Feedback on unsuccessful applications will not be provided by the RHA.
