Founded in 2021, the award offers an applicant artist a two-month residency on Clare Island in a house with a separate studio.
There is a nominal cost of €250 per month to cover utilities. The house and studio have Wi-Fi and underfloor heating. The studio is not suitable for sculptors. Interested applicants should fill out the application form (link below).

We are delighted to formally announce that artist, Róisín Lewis has been awarded this year's residency.
Her work is a response to journeys she has made through the landscape. Lewis works mainly with drawing processes. While the work she exhibits usually consists of works on paper, over the past few years she has been exploring ways of expanding her drawing practice, by integrating printmaking and sculptural processes, indigenous building techniques and approaches to textile construction.
Artist Andy Fitz was the first artist to be awarded this residency in 2021. You can read more about this in our News.
