The artists worked on an antique easel that was part of William Orpen RHA’s atelier. A number of the most recently elected associate members of the RHA were invited to sit and the event referenced the inter-generational exchange and peer learning that is woven into the history of the academy in its bi-centennial year.

As part of the Festival Of Making in October 2023 academicians Una Sealy RHA, James Hanley RHA and Blaise Smith RHA were invited to paint live portraits of fellow artists, exhibited now in the RHA Foyer.
